1) The visitor
Description
Walter Vale is a widower who teaches economics at a Connecicut university. He lives alone and is no longer motivated by his work. In New York to present a paper at a conference, he goes to the apartment that was his when his wife was alive. He finds a young couple living there. Dispite their great cultural differences, Walter becomes friends with the couple and helps them from being deported.
