Description
In Moscow, Sergei purchases two Dior ties, one of which Olivier de la Fontaine, head of the French Fashion Council, receives. He visits his lover, fashion designer Simone Lowenthal, and then dies choking on a ham sandwich. Fashion reporters converge on Paris for the ready to wear fashion shows and schemes and intrigues ensue among them and the designers. De la Fontaine's death turns out to be an accident. Lowenthal expresses her contempt for the fashion scene by ending her show with nude models.
