Description
Jules Ward has been hounded by a stalker for over five months. She doesn’t take him seriously until the head of a slaughtered bull elk shows up in her driveway. Beck Ford is back in Fossil. The mountain town will be his new home, as well as the new corporate headquarters for his security company. He doesn’t expect Jules to hire him to find her stalker, and he sure as heck never expects to fall in love with her. Jules is no coward. The decision to run back to Fossil doesn’t come easy, but it is her home town, and her family is there. She’ll be safe and it’ll be a good place to restart her business. Bad people exist. When they’re bat-shit crazy, it’s difficult to figure out what they’ll do next. Beck relaxes his guard in Fossil and Jules realizes too later that feeling safe and being safe are not synonymous. The stalker is now the one in charge. That doesn’t bode well for a happily-ever-after for Jules and Beck.
